The Referral Coordinator executes patient insurance referrals, consultations, and diagnostic procedures relating to the clinic. Schedules consultation and diagnostic appointments for patients per provider/assistant request and documents necessary information. Completes requested forms for Medicare, the Department of Health, Social Services, Insurance, and specialty offices. Obtain insurance authorization for appointments, if necessary. Contact patients to provide appointment date, time, location and preparation information for appointment, if appropriate. Answers questions regarding patient appointments and testing. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information. Responds to voice-mails and/or messages from patients, and schedules as needed. No experience necessary. Bilingual preferred.
